# Sitrep for GitHub privacy policy

Sitrep does not collect your data. Lucid Labs operates no server for the app and receives nothing from it.

## What the app does with your data

Sitrep talks only to GitHub (api.github.com and github.com), using your own access token, to read the status of the repositories you choose. Those requests go directly from your device to GitHub, on your behalf. Lucid Labs does not see them.

## What is stored on your device

- Your GitHub access token, in the device Keychain. It is never written to a file, logged or shared with widgets.
- The list of repositories you chose to watch.
- A display-only snapshot of repository status, so widgets, complications and the Apple Watch app can show it. The snapshot never contains your token.

This data stays on your devices. Deleting the app removes the repository list and snapshot. Your token can remain in the Keychain after deletion, so sign out in the app first to remove it.

## What we do not do

- No analytics, crash reporting or advertising identifiers.
- No tracking, and no data shared with third parties.
- No account with Lucid Labs. Demo Mode makes no network requests.

## Actions you start

If you choose Assign to Copilot, Sitrep creates an issue on the repository you selected, using your token. It does this only when you ask, never in Demo Mode.

## GitHub

Data held by GitHub is governed by [GitHub’s privacy statement](https://docs.github.com/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement). You can revoke Sitrep’s access at any time under Settings > Applications on github.com.

## Children

Sitrep is a developer tool and is not directed at children.
