# Sitrep for GitHub

A glanceable status for the handful of GitHub repositories you actually care about, on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.

## What you see for each repository

- Latest CI result on the default branch
- Open pull requests and issues, and the branch count
- Open code scanning and Dependabot alerts, coloured by severity
- Latest deploy run

## Wherever you look

- Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, plus a Control Centre control
- A menu bar popover on Mac with a live health ring
- Apple Watch app and complications
- Siri and Shortcuts: ask what is failing without opening the app

## Hand it to an agent

When something is red, assign it to the GitHub Copilot coding agent in one tap. Sitrep creates an issue seeded with what is wrong in that repository and opens it for you.

## Private by design

You sign in with GitHub’s device flow, so no password is entered in Sitrep. Your access token stays in the device Keychain. There is no analytics, no tracking and no Sitrep server: the app talks only to GitHub. Read the [privacy policy](https://lucidlabs.com.au/products/sitrep/privacy).

## Getting started

- Install Sitrep for GitHub from the App Store.
- Tap Sign in with GitHub, enter the code shown at github.com/login/device and authorise.
- Choose the repositories to watch, then add a widget.
- No GitHub account to hand? Tap Try Demo Mode to explore with example repositories.
