# Lucid Ops in a Box

The back office for MSPs and tenant admins

Everything a provider runs on, wired together: Partner Center and Pax8 reconciliation, customer and subscription sync, quotes and invoices into Xero, and multi-tenant governance across the estates you manage. Built for the people running other people’s tenants.

## Providers spend more time reconciling than managing

Run tenants for other people and your month looks the same every time: export the Pax8 billing, export Partner Center, compare both against what the customer records say, work out which subscriptions changed mid-cycle, then build the invoices by hand.

Each portal holds part of the truth, licences drift between renewals, and the only person who can assemble the whole picture is the one who built the spreadsheet.

Ops in a Box is the plumbing between those systems, done properly. Customers, subscriptions, and invoices reconcile automatically; billing comes from what actually shipped; and tenant governance sits alongside the commercial record instead of in a different portal.

It is the platform we run Lucid Labs on. If your people also want an assistant in front of it, that is Lucy — same stack, different audience.

## How it works

1. ### Connect the sources

Partner Center, Pax8, Xero, and Microsoft Graph connect using managed identities and consented app registrations in your own tenant.

2. ### Reconcile the commercial record

Customers, subscriptions, and invoices sync into a single CRM view, so the billing record and the tenant record stop disagreeing.

3. ### Bill from what shipped

Quotes become invoices become Xero drafts, with payments recorded back against the account. Mid-cycle changes are picked up rather than missed.

4. ### Govern the estates

Licence positions, cost, and security posture across every tenant you manage — in one place, refreshed rather than re-exported.

## What you get

### Partner billing reconciliation

Pax8 and Microsoft Partner Center customers, subscriptions, and invoices synced against your own records. Differences are surfaced rather than buried.

### Quote to cash

Branded quotes and invoices generated from CRM records and pushed to Xero as drafts. Payments and card reconciliation flow back the other way.

### Multi-tenant governance

Licence optimisation, cost, tenant posture, and Copilot adoption across the customer estates you administer — including the ones nobody has looked at this quarter.

### The back office included

Customers, projects, timesheets, and document generation on your templates. The delivery record, not just the billing record.

## Pricing

Lucid Ops in a Box is sold through the Microsoft commercial marketplace, so it draws down your Azure commitment and bills on your existing Microsoft invoice.

### Consumer

$500AUD / month

The Consumer plan is for a single organisation running Lucid Ops in a Box in its own Microsoft 365 tenant. There is no delegation, no MSP cross-tenant access, and no partner-management surface.

### Provider

$10,000AUD / month

The Provider plan is built for managed service providers who run Lucid across their own tenant and their customers' Microsoft 365 environments via GDAP (granular delegated admin privileges).

List price on the Microsoft commercial marketplace, excluding GST. [View the Lucid Ops in a Box listing](https://marketplace.microsoft.com/en-au/marketplace/apps/lucidlabsau.lucid-ops-in-a-box).

## Where your data sits, and who can reach it

Ops in a Box runs inside the tenant you already own. The questions below are the ones a compliance reviewer asks first, so they are answered on the page rather than in a follow-up call.

### Processing stays in your tenant

The platform is deployed into your own Microsoft 365 and Azure subscription. Customer data is not copied out to a Lucid Labs environment to be processed.

### Isolation fails closed

Each managed tenant is separated at the data layer. Where a request cannot be resolved to exactly one tenant it is refused, rather than falling back to a broader scope.

### Your Entra sign-in, your GDAP scopes

People sign in with your existing Entra ID, and delegated access to customer tenants runs through GDAP — so admin scope is bounded and revocable where it already is.

## Common questions

How does Lucid Ops in a Box reach customer tenants?

Through GDAP — Granular Delegated Admin Privileges — using the delegated relationships you already hold as a partner. Access is scoped to the roles in those relationships and is revoked when the relationship ends, so the platform cannot reach further into a customer tenant than your existing agreements allow.

Does customer data leave our environment?

No. Ops in a Box is deployed into your own tenant and subscription, and processing happens there. Lucid Labs does not hold a copy of your customers’ data to run the platform.

What connects to it?

Microsoft Partner Center, Pax8, Xero, Dynamics 365 and Dataverse, and Microsoft Graph, using managed identities and app registrations consented in your tenant. It is also reachable from any MCP client, which is how the same operations are driven from a chat surface.

How is outbound data controlled?

Automated sends pass through a sensitivity-label-aware data loss prevention gate before anything leaves the tenant, and operations are recorded in the audit trail your compliance team already reviews.

Already running it? [Lucid Ops in a Box support](https://lucidlabs.com.au/products/lucid-ops-in-a-box/support) has the diagnostics to run before raising a ticket.
